Types of patient gowns:

Kimono-style gowns wrap around the body and tie at the side, giving patients full front coverage while allowing easy access for medical staff. This is the most common design used in Singapore clinics for outpatient examinations and day procedures.

Three-hole gowns have openings for the head and both arms, with a tie or snap closure at the back. They are widely used in hospitals for inpatient care, as they can be put on or removed without disturbing IV lines or monitoring equipment.

Tie-back surgical-style gowns offer the most coverage and are used in settings where sterility and fluid resistance matter, such as pre-operative and post-operative care.
